Ark Quest Education Centre now has 151 students enrolled, with every child receiving breakfast and lunch each school day. A flourishing horticultural programme continues to supplement the feeding programme while teaching students valuable practical skills.
The Centre recently held its second Parents and Guardians Meeting, where families received training on child support, safeguarding, and child protection.
Students in Grades 3–5 successfully completed their national educational projects, including soap making, establishing vegetable gardens, pest management portfolios, and singing.
Teachers also participated in a three-day Professional Development Workshop, with training in curriculum design, lesson planning, health and safety, and wellbeing.

A recently widowed school cleaner, now the sole provider for her young family, has been able to send her children back to school after they were forced to leave due to financial hardship.
The Centre’s water project maintenance technician is now able to pay his daughter’s high school fees, giving her the opportunity to continue her education.
Through education, nutrition, training, and employment, Ark Quest Education Centre continues to bring hope and create lasting change for children, families, and the wider community of Mahanga Village.
